Meet the Collective!
Zamariah Jackson
Zamariah, affectionately known as “Z,” is a Jewish follower of Messiah Yeshua. She served as chair of the Living Free Women's Conference for 10 years and is the head worship leader at Congregation Ahavat Yeshua in Washington, DC, where she has faithfully served for 24 years. Zamariah is also a recording artist, producer, playwright, and studio engineer. She’s taken the post-production reins and is currently mixing Sword and Song’s “Victory” album. Though all three artists are deeply influential and make all final decisions together, Zamariah stands out. Her eclectic taste in music, many years of musical arranging, professional songwriting experience, and passion for audio engineering have largely made this project possible. We honor and celebrate Zamariah for her sacrifice and tireless efforts to see this project completed.
Sue Samuel
Sue and her husband, Rabbi Brian, are blessed to travel around the world, visiting congregations and sharing G-d's message of hope and healing for all of His children. They visit all congregations, both large and small, knowing that they sing to an audience of One. Brian and Sue are currently serving as Rabbi and Rebbetzin of Congregation Mishkahn David in Rhode Island.
Sue’s writing skill combined with her ability to forge infectiously singable hooks has added a bedrock layer of melodic richness, thematic depth, and a dose of songwriting propellant to the group that is distinctly Sue. She is an absolute joy in the collaborative songwriting process, bringing humor, sensitivity, and vibrance.
Kerah Oliveira
Kerah lives with her husband, Andre, and two small boys. They have served under Andre’s father, Rabbi Peter, at Congregation Mishkahn Nachamu in Connecticut for the last eight years as the media manager over the tech team and the primary worship leader. Kerah was brought up in a worship-leading environment under her parents (Mark and Shimrit Hanes) since the age of eight, becoming a contributing member of her parents’ traveling Messianic worship ministry called Zemer Levav for 16+ years. Kerah has a deep passion to worship God; much of her current season’s music starts from spontaneous anthems during worship services. She covers web design, social media coordination, and graphic design. She also adds strong, simple contemporary pop anthems and a knack for writing deep throne-room worship to the collective.
